  • Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo and transfer to the hotel

  • Day 4: Morondava - Kirindy Reserve - Baobab Avenue - Morondava 100 km - 4h30 drive

Before enjoying a sunset under the feet of the mysterious giant baobabs, you will have the opportunity to discover the dry forests of Kirindy with its emblematic Fossa (the large predator of lemurs). Transfer to Morondava.

  • Day 5: Morondava - Belo Sur Tsiribihina - Bekopaka 100 km - About 5 hours

In the morning, you leave Morondava to join Belo Sur Tsiribihina and then Bekopaka after crossing the river of Manambola. Hotel Olympe de Bemaraha

  • Day 6: Bekopaka - Tsigny de Bemaraha National Park - Bekopaka

The region of Bekopaka has become an important tourist destination thanks to its strange formations of limestone rocks called Tsingy de Bemaraha qualified as a UNESCO heritage.

  • Day 7: Bekopaka - Baobab Avenue - Morondava 200 km more than 8 h

On the way back from Bekopaka, you will enjoy the unique beauty of the world under the shade of the giant baobabs at sunset. Transfer to Morondava. Le Baobab Hotel or similar.

  • Day 8: Free day in Morondava

Second Option:

  • Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo and transfer to the hotel
  • Day 2 : Antanarivo – Ambatolampy - Antsirabe
  • Day 3 : Antsirabe - Miandrivazo
  • Day 4: Miandrivazo - Barge down the Tsiribihina River

Transfer to the pier of Masiakampy (25 km from Miandrivazo).
Lunch on board, attraction: birds, turtles and lemurs watching. Installation of the camping in Anosinampela by the end of the day. Aperitif and campfire.

  • Day 5 : Tsiribihina River

After lunch, swimming at the natural waterfall, possibility to visit small tsingy according to your physical condition. Visit of the typical village of the Sakalava tribe. We continue the cruise to the discovery of the endemic forests of the region: opportunity to meet some species of lemurs and other animals. Installation of tents and overnight stay around a campfire.

  • Day 6 : Tsiribihina descent

Breakfast on board and visit of the Baobab forests, fauna and flora along the river.
Transfer to Belo Sur Tsiribihina around noon and then we take the car in direction of Bekopaka. Hotel Olympe de Bemaraha.

  • Day 7: Bekopaka - Tsingy de Bamaraha National Park
